Tunu Explorers – Diving Into the Wild Heart of East Greenland
In March 2025, a new chapter in Arctic adventure began with the founding of Tunu Explorers – a company dedicated to diving expeditions in one of the last truly untouched places on Earth: East Greenland.
Our name carries our mission. Tunu is the East Greenlandic word for East Greenland – a land of towering icebergs, endless fjords, drifting pack ice, and an underwater world that few have ever seen. It is remote, raw, and breathtakingly beautiful. This is where we dive. This is where we explore.
Tunu Explorers was born out of years of Arctic experience. Our founders cut their teeth working with Northern Explorers AS, the pioneering Norwegian company created in 2010 by Anja Dietze and Sven Gust. From them came the knowledge, the passion, and the expertise that now shape every journey we lead.
Every expedition is more than a dive trip. It is an immersion into a world of extremes:
- Ice diving among drifting icebergs, where the frozen ceiling glows with shades of blue and green.
- Exploring the world beneath the pack ice, where frozen ceilings stretch endlessly above and the light dances in surreal shades of blue.
